LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power, and the glory are yours
now and forever.
Amen.

APOSTLES’ CREED

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
He is seated at the right hand of God
the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge
the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy catholic* Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

Acts 2:37-47 (ESV)

37 Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

39 For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”

40 And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.”

41 So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.

42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.

44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common.

45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.

46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,

47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

4. Sunday School and Youth Group Graduates (Jul. 12th)

  • Sunday School and Youth Group graduates will join their new ministries on Sunday, July 12th. Please keep them in your prayers as they begin a new journey!

    • Children’s Service: 12:00 P.M./JEI Learning Center (200-07 32nd Ave.).

    • Youth Group Service: 10:00 A.M./Fellowship Hall.

5. World Cup Final Watch Party (Jul. 19th) 

  • There will be a World Cup Final Watch Party on July 19th at 3:00 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Feel free to invite your friends and family. If you have any questions, please reach out to Phoebe Lee.
