LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power, and the glory are yours
now and forever.

APOSTLES’ CREED

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
He is seated at the right hand of God
the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge
the living and the dead.

Romans 1:8-17 (ESV)

8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed in all the world.

9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I mention you

10 always in my prayers, asking that somehow by God's will I may now at last succeed in coming to you.

11 For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you—

12 that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.

13 I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I have often intended to come to you (but thus far have been prevented), in order that I may reap some harvest among you as well as among the rest of the Gentiles.

14 I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.

15 So I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

3. Lunch Fellowship (May 3rd)

  • Next Sunday, we will have a special lunch fellowship after service. To help us connect with more people across our Grace Church community, seating will be randomized next week. We look forward to meeting someone new as we enjoy lunch together!

4. Children’s Day Festival (May 3rd)

5.  Kingdom Series Conference (May 23rd - May 25th)

  • Kingdom Series Conference will take place over the Memorial Day weekend, from Saturday, May 23rd to Monday, May 25th, at Camp Dewolfe (408 N Side Rd, Wading River, NY 11792). You may register on our website. The deadline is May 8th. For more information, please contact us at info@graceny.org.

6. FLOW Decoration Fellowship (May 2nd)

  • FLOW Decoration Fellowship will take place on Saturday, May 2nd, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Fellowship Hall. We invite everyone to join us for fellowship as we prepare decorations for FLOW together! Food and drinks will be provided. If you have any questions, you may contact Pastor John at john.n.minami@gmail.com.

8. Outdoor Service and Fellowship (Jun. 14th)

  • On June 14th, our Sunday service and fellowship will take place at Valley Stream State Park (Valley Stream State Park Rd, Valley Stream, NY 11580). Please arrive by 10:30 A.M., as we will begin service at 11:00 A.M. There is an $8 parking fee for those who are driving. Feel free to invite your family and friends to join us! 

9. Wedding Congratulations

  • Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Chung! Abe and Clara were pronounced husband and wife on Sunday, April 19th! Let us keep them in our prayers as they begin their new journey with Christ as a married couple.
