LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power, and the glory are yours
now and forever.
Amen.

APOSTLES’ CREED

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits on the right hand of God
the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge
the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy catholic* Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,

Luke 10:38-42 (ESV)

38 Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house.

39 And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching.

40 But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.”

41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things,

42 but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”

3. In-Person Worship Service (Jan. 2nd)

  • We will resume our in-person worship service next Sunday at 11 A.M. Please join us at least 10 minutes earlier to prepare your hearts for worship. 

4. Online Life Group Meeting (Dec. 26th)

  • Today’s Life Group meetings will be held online after service. Please contact your Life Group leader for more information. 

5. New Year’s Prayer (Dec. 31st – Jan. 1st) 

  • Let us begin Year 2022 together in prayer and worship! Join us online this Friday at 11 P.M. (Zoom Meeting Room #1: 9172223333 / PW: 3333). 

6. Thursday Prayer Room (Dec. 30th)

  • This week’s Thursday Prayer Room is being replaced by the New Year’s Prayer on Friday.

7. New Year’s Prayer Request

  • We ask you to share your prayer requests for the upcoming year with us online at graceny.org. Our leaders and prayer team will be committed to praying for you.

8. Year 2022 Scripture Card

  • For those who are joining us for in-person worship, you may pick up your scripture cards of the year by the welcoming desk starting next Sunday. For those who cannot come in person and are joining us online, you can request them on our website at graceny.org.

9. 2022 Bible Reading & Devotional (Jan. 3rd)

  • We will be starting a new one-year daily Bible reading plan as a church starting next Monday, Jan. 3rd. We will read through books of the Bible, in hopes that we have a better understanding of God and ourselves. If you would like to join, please reach out to your Life Group leader or contact Danielle at danielle.kim812@gmail.com. 

10. Monday Bible Reading Fellowship (Jan. 3rd)

  • We have finished the Book of Exodus and we will start a new book, Jeremiah, on Jan. 3rd at 7:30 P.M. If you are interested in joining or would like more information, please contact Pastor YT at yt.kim@graceny.org. 

11. Church Events and Mission Trip Postponed

  • Due to a sharp increase in Covid cases, Wales Kingdom Series was postponed until next summer, Stand Up gathering was also postponed until further notice, and the Youth Group retreat was cancelled. Thank you for your understanding and prayers.

12. COVID-19 Protocols

  • We ask you to wear a mask/a face covering and practice social distancing at all times. Also, if you have COVID like symptoms, we ask you to join us online; and if you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone who tested positive, please notify the leaders immediately, so that we can assess the situation quickly and make a timely decision. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
