LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power, and the glory are yours
now and forever.
Amen.

APOSTLES’ CREED

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits on the right hand of God
the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge
the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy catholic* Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.

16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

2. Congregational Meeting (Oct. 23rd)

  • We ask all active members of Grace Church to join our congregation meeting today at 3:00 P.M. We will meet in the Music Room after Life Group. Agenda item: Denomination.

3. Wednesday Prayer Room (Oct. 19th)

  • Starting this week, Prayer Room will be held in person at the Haeun Educational Building (201-03 29th Ave, Bayside, N.Y. 11360) at 8:00 P.M. You may also join us online through Zoom if you are unable to attend in person.

4. Membership Orientation (Oct. 30th)

  • Membership orientation will take place next Sunday, Oct. 30th after lunch for those of you who may be interested in becoming a member of Grace Church and/or would like to learn about our missions and vision. If you would like to sign up or have any questions, please email Pastor Andrew Chung at andrewchung.graceny@gmail.com. Deadline to sign up is Friday, Oct. 28th.

5. Holywin Festival (Oct. 31st)

  • Holywin will take place on Monday, October 31st (between 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.) in the Haeun Educational Building (201-03 29th Ave, Bayside, N.Y. 11360). All children from toddlers to 5th grade are invited for an evening of worship with dinner, games, and candy! You may register on our website at graceny.org or contact Pastor YT at dsyt1125@gmail.com for more information.

6. Operation Christmas Child (Oct. 23rd - Nov. 6th)

  • Operation Christmas Child is back! We will be collecting donations to share the love of Christ by sending gifts to the children in need. Each gift box is $25. If you would like to donate, please Venmo us at @graceny (write “Christmas Child” under “What’s it for?” or write “Christmas Child” on your offering envelope. Also, the packing date is November 13. If you have any questions, please contact Hana at rosa.h.kim@gmail.com.

7. Nursery Teacher

  • Children’s Ministry is looking for volunteers who can serve as nursery teachers. Please contact Pastor YT at dsyt1125@gmail.com for more information.

8. Leaders Conference (Nov. 5th)

  • This year’s leaders conference will take place on Saturday, November 5th from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Haeun Sanctuary (201-03 29th Ave Bayside, NY. 11360). We ask you to pray for all the participants (pastors, elders, deacons, ministry leaders, Life Group leaders, and teachers) as they will be praying for next year’s vision and seeking unity and discernment at the conference.
